This was quite an interesting post, but I think the topic is too layered to have a black and white answer. Your retorts are definitely rational and logical especially about the mainstream culture among our youth, but certain things can be best assessed and judged by a qualified psychiatrist. Especially the concluding quote by Kurt Cobain. #MyFriendAlexa #TheTinaEdit

Of course, there is always a grey area but again, giving others a benefit of doubt helps. Also, I’m writing this post keeping in mind those set of people & younger generation these days who justify their heedless & spoilt behaviour in the name of self-care. 🙂 people with mental disorder should seek professional help. Thanks for the comment 🙂

I was living to see something like this !!! What an exceptional article. Young generations are being taught narcissistic behavior in the name of self respect and self love. This is unacceptable and totally wrong. This needs to stop. Thank you for writing this.

Love the way you put across your points, but somewhere down the line patience and letting go are two aspects I added in my life that made me live happily.

I am not a supporter of “I’m the best” kind of pop psychology. No one is perfect anyway. It’s better to learn humility and a bit of modesty to boot if one is to accommodate oneself into the given environs.

An interesting post. Love the snark. All said and done, get ready to own up to the consequences too by taking it off the tangent. You are absolutely right, we don’t want mannerless brats.

Couldn’t agree more on the point that owning yourself and being toxic are two different things. Loved your take on self-worth, an assessment of which is exaggerated by what we consume through pop culture!

I loved this post, different and unique on self worth. It is very important to be aware about turning self-love to something narcissist.
