I agree that taking care of our health is actually the best damn thing but this is the hardest too especially with all your family members especially kids are home now. still, this is high time we should work on setting our routines, show some discipline. Thanks for the motivation here.

Social norms dictating everything we do causing negative mental and physical strengths. The social pressure that encourages the unhealthy lifestyle based on what seems to be popular and trendy. It’s a failed society in my opinion.

Totally agree with it, somewhere we have taken our health for granted and are so pro in messing up with the ideal lifestyle.

This is exactly happening around us. We used to neglect people who are doing right, besides this we are neglecting right things too. Your post is a mirror for society.

I soo agree with the article, the mobile / gadgets have literally changed our lives and I am telling this sitting behind another gadget 😐
Soo relate to it Saher, the late evening calls, and somewhere, the desire to say no, but thinking of competition in the corporate world.. many factors come into play! need to find a way around these addictions / distractors and enhance better work-life if possible

Absolutely. Everything these days needs to be Instagrammable, people let social media rule their lives. One needs to step away from the gadgets every once in a while and actually “live”.

Agreed! Bitter truth about society today, and well every day. It’s a tough road to self-love but a damn well worthwhile one. Thanks for the motivation here 🤍

Liked this. I’m someone who refuses to follow the herd. I get into a lot of trouble too because of that. Doesn’t matter, I’m healthy both mentally and physically.

I so agree. We often fall for the extra popular social media life, that might be half true!
As a mom, I get the fomo feeling of all the happenings i see on my social feeds.
but, realizing a fact that off of social media lies the real life and is more important

Interesting and thought provoking post. I cook everyday but I don’t enjoy it not because it’s boring, it’s just not my thing but I do it as it’s healthy to eat at home than outside oily food.

The post has raised many valid points, we are all guilty of following the herd mentality at some point or the other. We refuse to challenge the norms as we don’t want to be looked at weirdly.
I think it is high time we looked at ourselves properly and make some much needed changes

As much as I enjoy Insta and other social media, I am happy to share that I am only an observer. I cook, I sleep early and rise early, and don’t follow any trends. Glad you wrote this post though. Will help people introspect.

The herd following all the trends at the sake of health is surely not my cup of tea. Assessing one value in own eye is more important than waiting for the validation from the people who do not matter in life. This post will make many people think on what are they doing?
